Android failed move APP2SD

I just updated my Samsung Captivate (Galaxy S) to the official release of Froyo. It is not rooted nor have a replaced the ROM with anything other than the official Froyo release. I'm having trouble getting APP2SD working. I go to Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications and choose one of the apps. In this example, under storage it says 32.00KB. I hit the Move to SD card button and it says "Failed to move application. Not enough memory"

When I go to Settings -> SD card and phone storage it says that I don't have an external SD card (true), 8.67GB available on the internal SD card, and 1.30GB available space for internal phone storage.

What am I missing?

Apps to SD expects you to have an external SD card.

It get technical the external SD card will be mounted as /sdcard
Because of this the internal SD card will be mounted as /sdcard2 or /emmc or something for the system.

Apps to SD is looking for /Sdcard and not finding it.  I imagine this is by design and hard coded.

Thanks. Bummer that APP2SD doesn't work on the internal SD card but that's the answer.
