Enlarging the font

My OS is windows 7 and this question is for my HP GT62 laptop.  When one views a page in IE, one way of making the fonts get bigger, is holding the control button and rolling the middle button of the mouse.
But in a laptop, where there is NO mouse, how does one do the same function using the keys on the keyboard of the laptop. thank u.

try   CTRL  and  "+" together to enlarge
       CTRL  and  "- " together to Zoom Out

or CTRL and scroll on your laptop track pad
