Symantec Backup Exec 2010 - How do I update Enterprise Vault Agent?

I have just upgade to Backup Exec 2010.  I need to upgrade a server with the latest Enterprise Vault 2010 agent.  How the heck do I do it?  I'm not seeing it in the Tools --> Install agents and media servers on other servers dialog.

Hi Paul,
Thanks for the response.  I'm still confused though.  On the BackupExec machine I have installed the license for EV agent for BE 2010.  The EV machine looks like it is still running 12.5 because the backup that was once working with 12.5 is now complaining about needing an updated 2010 agent installation.  Should I be able to push the new EV agent out from the BE machine.  I'm confused on how to push/install the updated EV agent.
Again thanks for the reply,
Terry
When you install the license you also need to upgrade the Backup Exec remote agent on the Enterprise Vault Servers.

If you already have upgraded the agent and still having an issue then do the following:

What I have seen is legacy backup exec agent still exist on the EV Server after you upgrade from 12.5 to 2010. Fully uninstall the agent from the machine, reboot, and install the remote agent again.  If that doesn't work call Symantec, they'll help you clean out the old 12.5 modules and install the 2010.
By the way, if you are running EV 7 or 8 Backup Exec 12.5 agent will work fine.  You will need Backup Exec 2010 for EV9.
We are running EV 8.  I have not upgraded EV agent on the EV server.  I we expecting to see an option from Backup Exec but from the menu Tools --> Install agents and media servers on other servers dialog this is what I am seeing:
 User generated image
Should I see an option for the EV agent?  Note that I have registered the license for EV on the Backup Exec Server (Server this dialog came from).

Thanks again for your help,
Terry
As stated in the first post there is no seperate option for EV, the remote agent you have highlighted incorporates the EV agent.
Okay.  I am understanding your initial respone more now.  I did uninstall the EV agent but still no luck.  The error I am receiving is the following:
User generated imageBase on your response it sonds like I may need to give Symantec a call to get help on cleaning out the 12.5 agent.  Thoughts?

Thanks again,
Terry

Please review the responce after the first one..Uninstall previous Backup Exec 12.5 remote agent from EV, reboot, and install new remote agent..then reboot media server and EV server an try again.

One thing to consider is that to perform the jobs you may need to use the EV Service Account for credentials, the Backup Exec service account will most likely not have rights to backup EV Data
With the help of Symantec the issue appears to be a result of:
1) Selection issues.  Previous selections in 12.5 for some reason did not apply in 2010 R2.  I'm not sure why.
2) Permission issues related to userId associated with the process.  We ended up adding the userId that was used to run the job to the local administrators group.  Not perfect but I will permit it in order to ensure the backup occurs.  May address at a later time.

Since Paul's comments were spot on for what I was asking I am going to accept one of his answers above.

Thanks,
Terry
