"outlook has encountered a problem and needs to close 2007"
Most of the users are facing a common problem with a error msg in outlook "outlook has encountered a problem and needs to close 2007" especially when searching for a mail. I have already tried the below steps as initial trouble shooting.
1. Office diagnostics - found no problems
2. Re-registered dll files as mentioned in experts exchange - OLE32.DLL, INETCOMM.DLL
3. Disabled the COMM/Addins
4. Repaired Outlook using Detect and Repair
5. Tried to Reset the Outlook toolbar template but same not found.
6. Closed all open pst files.
Appreciate if this could be sorted out.

kindly request to provide me an update on this problem as the user is still facing the same problem after following the suggestion from shahzamm. The repetition of the problem has reduced though but the problem still persists. Kindly request if this can be taken up again.

run outlook.exe /safe..
delete outlook formcache (userprofile\AppData\Local
check wether its crashing on specific view. try running with outlook.exe /cleanviews
it could be due to indexing service curroption.
