SAPI Voices

Can someone recommend a good *English* TTS engine, SAPI compatible, that is freely available, I'm getting really sick of listening to Microsoft Sam/Mike/Mary. I need one that sounds fairly realistic, but it has to be free, since many of my friends need to use it as well.

If not, can someone recommend a way to create my own SAPI voices?

Thanks,
Shaun

(sigh)

okay, nevermind. I managed to locate some very UNFREE voices.

I'll post up my research here, so that other people might find it useful:

MkVoice (Creating a voice font)

FreeTTS
http://freetts.sourceforge.net/docs/index.php

Some decent quality SAPI voices are offered by NeoSpeech:
http://www.neospeech.com/

They can be tested at that site as well.
