mp4 to mpg can't convert

has a mp4 file. using super, WinX Free MP4 to MPEG Converter results is the same. the file after conversion is much smaller and can't open... there is no error message during the conversion.

I used Super too in the past, but not always successfully.
I changed to XViD4PSP, works a lot easier, and I didn't have any problems anymore, and I have the feeling that it is faster too.

after installing xvid4psp, when double click the program, it shows a screen loading etc... after that it disppears and the program doesn't appear. what could be wrong?

tried out Prism Video File Converter and it works after converting to wmv format. converting to mpg also doesn't work. not sure if the file issue. will close the qn and reward points for suggestion

If you used the installer version (the one of about 5,7Mb): Have you installed Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0?
Otherwise, try to use the portable version. then all the dependencies are integrated in the program (the program is then between 50-60Mb)
