Outlook 2007 will not open profile
Hi All,
Im having a issue outlook 2007 not being able to open a profile after outlook hangs for a while and i click on the screen everything grays out then i get a error saying:
microsoft office outlook is not responding
i click on details and the below error is given.
Description:
A problem caused this program to stop interacting with Windows.

the strange thing is that i have a couple of profiles and the one with the issue is my pop account however the account that is attached to a exchange has no issues.
any help would be great.

open outlook /safe then run scanpst.exe
Try to make an outlook profile with same POP account. do u get same error?

Could you confirm which version of windows you're running on?
I have found the following link that might pove useful when dealing with these issues:

Have you tried removing and re-adding the profile? I would try that first if you're able to avoid losing data.
Can you start outlook in safemode? If so try disabling any add-ins you have running.
I had a particular user a while ago that have an issue with outlook not starting every few months, I could that the solution was to open Run and use the following command:
outlook.exe /resetnavpane
I'm not sure this is applicable in your case but will not hurt to try.
