Hi,
I have installed a fresh copy of server 2003 x64 with all updates in a virtual test environment, I have then installed citrix xenapp 5.0 with license server, I am replacing a current live server so have used the same hostname citrixa,
on my live server if I cmd hostname I get citrixa lowecase, if I hostname the new build i get CITRIXA in uppercase, I know the licensing is case sensitive so this is the reason i cannot install the licenses, I know i can reallocate to the uppercase servername but wondered if that would effect the current live server in anyway or does it just mean I cannot allocate anymore licenses to the old server, I find it hard to believe I can find no information about this anywhere?
thanks

No, it will NOT affect the current license server in ANY way.
