date time format 'MM/YYYY' for Infragistics Ultratime editor

I have to read a value of  Expiration date which is an infragistics ultra datetime editor from database using business objects.
The date should be shown as 'MM/YYYY 'format .
What changes should I make to  my code??I want to change in the .NET code instead of change in database.

dtExpirationDate.DateTime = Format(_CreditCard.ExpirationDate,"MM/yyyy")
