Not seeing emails in Incredimail

Alright guys, I am having an issue with a client computer using Incredimail. More specifically in receiving messages. The program acts as if it is downloading messages, however when the download is complete the messages are no where to be seen. Not in the inbox, and junk mail is disabled. As a troubleshooting measure I configured outlook express to check the same account, and it won't even try and download messages. My email provider has partnered with gmail for hosting of email accounts so mail is hosting but the email address does not end with gmail.com. I also checked the web interface of gmail and the account is receiving the emails just fine.
