Hello, this site http://www.artandsoulacting.com has appeared to be tampered with. It has the letters pwned at the top and is not displaying as it was in IE. Please let me know what causes this, if possible. Thank you

Looks like you have been hacked.  I would reupload your original homepage and look to secure your site better.

This is the advise from your hosting company, they should investigate and let you know what happened.  I host my own sites myself so not sure how helpful they will be.

My account was hacked!

If you are the victim of a hacker, immediately email security@hostgator.com and our experts will investigate this hack correctly.

Only security administrators can help you with an abuse issues and hackers; please reply to the security email for updates.

Now I have a bigger problem. I restored the database from previous backup and the site is gone! It says - Restircted Access. What should I do?

I dont use joomla so cant really advise.  I would hope to just restore the template that your site sits on but thats not really going to help you now.

try to restore again from the same backup.  Restricted access sounds like maybe the admin team has brought your site down (maybe they have noticed the hack)
