SBS 2011: Faxing and Error Checking

I know that in SBS Server 2003 Fax services did not use any form of error checking.  

We have migrated to SBS 2011 and want to know if this latest version of the Fax services utilizes error correction?

Not in software. As with 2003, you can get fax boards with hardware EC.

Do you know a reliable modem that supports hardware ECM?

Sorry for the late reply. Vacation. Thanks for the points. As I recall, brooktrout and mainpiine both support ECM.
