My company would like to get some asset management going. We would like to put asset tag stickers on hardware and keep things documented. I figure the cheapest way would be some Excel spreadsheet but that seems kinda weak.
We don't need anything fancy, we are a small company with not a whole lot of assets. We don't need to do checking in/out, depreciation, etc. Basically just want to know where IT equipment is and associate it with a tag.
