We're running Mozilla Thunderbird on a group of seven XP and Vista PCs, however, with one on each opsys there is no spell checker,

No dictionary is installed and there is no Addons option under Tools to add one.

The fixes I have found for this appear to be Linux based - any ideas???

Add a Dictionary to the Mozilla Thunderbird Spell Checker

To install a new language for the Mozilla Thunderbird spell checker:

    * Open Mozilla Thunderbird.
    * Select Tools | Add-ons from the menu.
    * Open your browser.
    * Go to the Mozilla Thunderbird dictionaries page:  https://addons.mozilla.org/af/thunderbird/language-tools/
    * Drag and drop the desired Install link to Mozilla Thunderbird's Add-ons window.
    * Switch to the Add-ons window.
    * Click Install Now in the Software Installation dialog.
    * Now click Restart Thunderbird.

If the version of Thunderbird you're using is old, it might be Tools, Extensions.

NFR key for Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365

Veeam is happy to provide a free NFR license (for 1 year, up to 10 users). This license allows for the non‑production use of Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 in your home lab without any feature limitations.

I had a look there as well but no Add ons, it's Thunderbird 2.

TB2 supported this, it's just not called Addons..  I thought it was Tools,Extensions.  That window IS the add-on manager. Try dropping the install  link there.

Ahh, maybe? I won't be going to where the computer is until around this time on Friday and will try then.

Thanks, I'll update you as soon as I have checked it,

I was looking for Add ons while in Write mode, when it's not displayed. Once I realised this, you suggestion worked perfectly.
