I am still a bit hazy where the issue is. Which of these scenarios do you think is closest to your issue:

1. You are not able to open the project at all
2. You can open the project but cannot find the package
3. You can open the project and see the package but cannot open
4. You can open the project and the package but cannot run it.

I do not have a quck solution for any of the above but once we establish the problem area, we can then start to toubleshoot.

1. You are not able to open the project at all

Go Open Project try and open two created so far

for example one I am trying to open, step 1, open project on visual studio screen, then browse to the file
D:\Procube8 CSV\Procube CSV Account Hierarchy\Procube CSV Account Hierarchy\Procube CSV Account Hierarchy
type = integration services project file

Hmm... when you actually go to the folder location, you can see the files physically sitting there. It is just that when go to the folder location via Visual Studios, you do not see the file in the folder.

Is that right?

Can you browse to the project folder via the explorer (not in Visual Studios), take a screen shot and post it here for me to see?
