I changed the screen on my laptop and now it won't start up on battery power. If I plug it in, it works just fine. The laptop detects the battery, but it wont start up.....

Hi,

What brand is the laptop? Try going into bios and reset it to factory default settings.
If this does not work, are you able to see the battery power in bios? eg. Dell laptop have battery settings in bios maybe check it out and reset it to default or change it as it may be turned off in bios.
