SQLite database in iPhone bundle

Do I need to create a copy of a database that is in the app bundle into the iphone documents or else in order to be writable?
I'm updating records in a database that is in the bundle of the application but it only works on the simulator.
When I try it on the iphone is crashes all the time.

Ok, I got it!
Yes! in fact I needed to copy the database to the mobile in order to be writable.
