SBS 2008 - Cliënt network settings

I recently installed a SBS2008 R2 in a small network with 5 cliënts, all running Windows XP Professional. The SBS has 1 network card, and there is an internet modem. The netwerk has 1 switch to connect everything.

What are the right network settings for the cliënt computers, according to DNS and Default Gateway ip address??

Are the settings obtained from a DHCP server always correct?

If DHCP is functioning correctly it will be correct yes, it also provides mobility options. Don't really know if you have mobile devices but let's say you have a laptop and want to go to clients. It's not that fun to change the lan settings every time you leave the office.

If you need assistance configuring your DHCP please provide ip information please.

The Ip config is as follows,

Internet Modem - 192.168.1.11
