Enabling incoming email in sharepoint 2007

I am trying to email-enable a document library and get the error: "Unable to assign this e-mail address to the list, because the address is in use. "

however, i can't seem to find another document library set up with the same e-mail address.
I have deleted that address and library and created both from scratch but still getting the same error.

Below link was really helped.

Now the original error is gone. But I can't see emails in library. According to above link I have checked
the log file in C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\Web Server Extensions\12\LOGS
and fould below entry I don't understand what does that means. It says service has processed 0 messages but I  have send test message.

reset your timer service then try agian

Ok I have restarted timer service but still no luck I cant see the emails

I think my exchange server is not talking to my sharepoint server...how can troubleshoot that ?
