I have a root site and 2 subsites one for dutch and one for french
Content types are created on the site colleciton level
However lists are created on the dutch level.
I hit save template on each list, but when I go to the french site to create the same lists, obviously the template are not in that subsite.
What can I do? I need to replicate the lists structure from the dutch subsite to the french subsite.

Templates just get added as list items in the templates list. Can't you just add the templates to the other site? Also make sure the templates are allowed in the other sites settings.

where can I see the templates list?
and yes I know, it seems the templates are in the dutch site, but not in the french site, how can I copy them to the french site? or maybe I should move them to the site colleciton level if possible?

I see the list templates there, but all for dutch, I still need to make them available for the french site, I thought stp files were xml but its binary, so I cant do anything with it
and this list seems to be at the site collection level, I thought it was at the subsite level
