VPN Connection error
Hi,
I have a laptop that wont connect using VPN it used to work fine and then when It was connected to another network for the day it stopped working. It is able to connect to the internet and networks ect and It is not using Dial up or a Modem. I have tried to connect a few times now and It still gives the same error. However other laptops can connect to the same VPN. I have also tried connecting with the firewall disabled so it is not a firewall fault. The Laptop is running Win 7 X64.

Sorry thought I had put it in the message the error is
A connection to the remote computer could not be established, so the port used for this connection was closed. (Error 619) For customized troubleshooting information for this connection, click Help.

port closed means port closed. Is there another firewall in this new network?

We have got a Hardware firewall and each machine has microsoft firewall installed. I have used a port checked and the port is open but when I try and telnet onto the port I get an error saying "Could not open connection to the host, on port [1723]
So you can connect to your VPN from another network on port 1723.
From this one particular network you cannot connect.
Can you see the firewall logs on your machine and that hardware firewall?

I can connect through the VPN from other laptops but not this one. It started happening after it was taken off site and connected to a customers network.

Just to note that the Laptop is using DHCP and it's Current IP is 192.168.123.77 I have released and renewed the IP to see if that caused the issue but the problem is still there also there are a few more errors below:

I'd think it's not a VPN question but a networking one.
Check the time zone? and time?
Does ipconfig/all return the correct data?
Does your DNS or DHCP server have an old entry for this machine (reverse or forward) with another IP address?
Has another machine got an address that this machien might use?

The IpConfig returns the correct data and the timezone is correct. Also the DNS or DHCP should not have any old entries for the machine but I will check. I have renewed the Ip address a few times now and it is still not working so I am sure that there is not any other machiens with the same IP address.
