The default option is NOINIT, to override it just specify the INIT keyword using the WITH clause in the BACKUP DATABASE transact-sql statement..

in SSIS with the backup DB task, it does not give me option to edit NOINIT TO INIT. hence I was wondering if I can influence it from some other switch. any thoughts how to work around that?
