iMac photo archive missing
A user called and told me that his entire photo archive is missing. He reported a set of actions done by himself, but they are related to email, and I doubt they really have any connection to photos.
The computer used iMac current version 27", with 1Gb of HDD.
I am a Win admin, so this is a new field for me.
I would need some help to see where I could take look unto restoring the database of iPhoto which held all the data.

Yes. That should work. Don't immediately delete the current library until you are satisfied that you have what you want in the replacement.

OK, thanks.
I've backed up the new one, and the backup is copying to my mac.
Will try it!

This is the situation; it seems that the used deleted stuff from its library. However, I have TimeCapsule backup (worked intermitently) from 17.feb. To recover iPhoto lib of that date, I just need to copy the file and than connect it to the iphoto?
