Cannot remove a cancelled meeting from the Calendar

Cannot remove a cancelled meeting from the Calendar, when I double click on it, it says "Cannot open Item"

you could try closing Outlook and running scanpst.exe - the Microsoft Outlook Inboox repair tool.  It should be on your computer - use search to find it.  If you cannot find it, you can download the tool, but you have to be careful to get the correct version for your installed version of Outlook.  Look here for more information.  http://www.msoutlook.info/question/77

Even if we are using Exchange 2007, no local pst to repair.

I had this, and was able to delete via Blackberry, which then removed from Outlook.

Of course, this tip is no use if you don't have a Blackberry!!

I also used Outlook 2003/2007 and 2010 with no luck

I had to use MFCMapi and remove that partical reminder
