does anyone have any idea why youtube is giving this error?

It may be many different things.

- try using another web browser
- update your current web browser
- update flash player (go to www.adobe.com and look for adobe flash player)
- you might have some add-ons / plug-ins / extensions in your browser causing this error
- YouTube might have a server-side problem

Bidonet,

I have tried everything you mentioned above...I thought it could be my firewall setting (I am using a WatchGuard appliance), to ensure that youtube is not be blocked, I even made an exception to the http proxy settings, Still no luck!!!! I don't know what else to try...I have tried all the tricks like changing watch?v = watch#v, still no luck...!

I had to add .flv file extension to Watchguard appliance...Issue fixed

Nice to see you fixed it.  I was almost sure it was a firewall issue after you mentioned you had WatchGuard but I am not very familiar with it.  Youtube is also blocked at our office but I cannot do anything about it because it's the policy.
