I have no idea how to do this. I think it would use javascript but I'm not sure. I want to make something for my website that is almost exactly like this I want to make is so when I put my mouse over an image on the main page, four images from the product show up. I want it to be able to select the image names from a database using php, so whatever it is it has to be compatible with php. Does anyone know how I would do that?

If you do a "view source" of the 99 designs site, you will see that they make extensive use of jQuery.  I would start by going to and buying three of the top-rated jQuery books.

You can also start your learning from the jQuery web site.

What was wrong with the answer?

You wrote, I have no idea how to do this. I think it would use javascript but I'm not sure.    You also wrote, I want to make something for my website that is almost exactly like this

The answer is jQuery.  There is a learning process to be able to use jQuery, but it is very popular, open source, and extensible.  It encapsulates the "good part" of JavaScript in an easy to use library.

If you need more information, please explain. but it doesn't seem right to delete the question without dialog when the question has been answered, with reference links.  Thanks, ~Ray
