Experts,

I am trying to figure out why the record highlighted in Red towards the very bottom does not state an amount in Column L row 197.  There is comparing of dates and such and I am not certain exactly why the record above does state a USD Equivalent but the one hightlighted in red does not.  Can someone make sense of that formula?

thank you

row 197, column L
the statement is as follows (too large for me to understand)
=IF(AND($F197>$L$19,$C197<$L$18),IF($G197="USD",$H197,(IF($G197=$H$4,$H197*$L$4,(IF($G197=$H$5,$H197*$L$5,(IF($G197=$H$6,$H197*$L$6,(IF($G197=$H$8,$H197*$L$8,(IF($G197=$H$9,$H197*$L$9,(IF($G197=$H$10,$H197*$L$10,0))))))))))))),0) LCcost.xls

=IF(AND($F197>$L$19,$C197<$L$18)....

This is the first test on your formula. Both conditions must be met for the IF function to execute the "true" part of the function. If you check the values on cells F197>L19 this condition is true (16/02/11>01/10/10) but the second condition is not true C197<L18 (16/02/11<01/01/11). So the AND condition is false thus the formula returning 0. If you try changing the value on cell C197 to say 16/02/10 then you will get a result on cell L197 of:

449,595.24
