I have a computer what I am cutting & pasteing numerous folders from one place to another on a network share. If I cut 40 or 50 folders at a time & then paste them to the other location, all works fine except 1 folder EVERYTIME! I then have to copy that one & paste it to the directory I need it to go in.

This happens all the time & I have thousands of folders to move & no matter if I cut 2 or 2oo folders at a time 1 will always say it is in use when I know for fact it is not open anywhere else. What is going on with this??? Any suggestions?

Close out all of your editing progams, adobe reader, ms office applications, etc. Make sure all of their processes are ended, then try again.

Maybe you can try to see witch program lock you folder with unlocker

During the installation uncheck the toolbar and the ebay shortcut
http://www.filehippo.com/download_unlocker/

After the installation right click on the folder how is locked and select unlocker so you will see witch application stop you to cut your folder
