For some reason my IE8 stopped working this evening. Every time I try to open it says " a problem has caused IE to stop working" and then closes. I was trying to troublshoot and happened to try In Private browsing and everthing opened fine.

Not really versed in IE guts. Any possible reasons why this would occur suddenly?

Probably the addons or security settings you have configured in your IE?

Try reseting/restoring IE8 settings and see if that works?

Reset seems to have done the trick. Thanks!
