I have SPSS 19 (statistical software) running on my Windows XP desktop. &nbsp;There is an online site where I download both a data file and an SPSS Syntax file, which is basically a program file that SPSS uses, it has the extension .SPS<br />
Whenever I download the .SPS file from any of my web browsers, instead of just saving the file to my computer, SPSS always tries to open the file. &nbsp;I don't want SPSS to open at all. &nbsp;I just want to save the file without it auto-launching this software. &nbsp;How can I stop SPSS from launching every time I download an .SPS syntax file?
