jimyX has helped me a code to merge two projects, the other has thumbnail and the other has virtualView, each of the project is lacking a function to complete a pure virtualView Thumbnail.

JImyX errors some lines,  I hope anyone could correct what is lacking or behind the lines why it errors during a virtualthumbview.

Here's the link were the projects are located;

Actually I applied techniques from this link;
http://talkdelphi.blogspot.com/2009/04/delphi-listview-and-pagination.html

TO this project sample;
http://filedb.experts-exchange.com/incoming/2011/02_w09/413779/thumbnail.zip

But didn't workout, even I put on ListView1Data

I'm not really good as you are guys, maybe you can fix it.

thanks

Hi Systan
What exactly are you trying to do and where are the codes that don't work.
I may get sometime this weekend to mess around with delphi.

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

All this work for 250 pts,  LOL

Anyway, heres the code, I fixed some stuff in those PIDL stuff as well.
However for folders that have no images associated, you may have to use a default image.
Images will show as thumbnails properly

The development is great, I was glad viewing the folder icon with scaled images.  The only though that I have, is, why .net virtualview is faster than delphi virtualview.

About the points, its worth more than 2000, if asker can make her own points, I'll rate it double or even triple.

Even though this is only my Delphi code collection, no application or project involved or connected,  I enjoy my stay here.

Thanks a lot

Wondering ...
But did you edit the changes made by jimyX or you just created your own procedure to make the code work good?

I've seen the code, compared it.
I'm just confused, when virtualview with bitmap is slow when it scrolls down,  but with no bitmap display it smoothly flow.

But you have truly develop a good code.

thank you very much
