Virus in a blackberry

HI

I have some email accounts configured in my blackberry, but since some days I have noticed that one hotmail account is sending messages automatically from my BB address book, could be a virus or something?

Hi,

I'm not aware of a BlackBerry virus but there are other reports of similar issues and these appear to be related to your PC or mail server as opposed to the BlackBerry?

Do you have a virus or other malware on your home/work PC or laptop?

So you see anything in the sent mail on the BlackBerry with a tick next to it indicating your BlackBerry sent the message?

The only thing that I could noticed is that the email is from one of my accounts and is sent to all my contacts, even other accounts that are configured on my blackberry.

Is important to mention that the account that is sending spam, is related to my twitter account and of course is enabled in my BB.

The messages that I got are with the subject HILO and there is a link at the body like:

propositionpage.myurworld.com/sincerely/index.htm

Hi,

I still believe this is indicative that your PC has been compromised and it is that which has either been used to harvest your contacts (and something else is not emailing them) or your PC is doing the sending.

I do not believe that there is currently a virus for BlackBerry but I will stand corrected if someone proves otherwise.
