I need to move my current Exchange 2007 mail store to a new server due to hard disk space. Can I use the old ip on the new server without problems? Otherwise I need to make tons of rules changes to accommodate the new server. Can someone shed some light?

I am planning to do this gradually. I will move the mailboxes and leave both servers running for a while until the old one can be removed. After that do the ip change? Or I can do this while both are running?

It's our production box, therefore I want to be "extra" careful.
