x2upB5.dll is a xerox print driver.  I would try to update all the Xerox print drivers on that machine.

if wordpad is crashing, that usually a sign of a memory or disk problem.  Try running memtest on the server and make sure it checks out ok.

Hello,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to any of you. It was a printer driver updated bythe server some how. When i saw that a printer was missing from the server then saw a second one with an exclamation point i removed that printer then reinstalled it and volia the word pad started working and a program called re-rite for their xerox printer worked as well again. So acesover2000 even know i did not get to read your article till today you were correct too.
