Is there a way to bandwidth throttle the Exchange Database copies across a WAN from within Exchange 2010? or is it possible to schedule when the database copies occur? I have found in testing our bandwidth gets max out when a high amount of logs are being created.

you cannot schedule it but for bandwidth throttling you can do it on any traffic shaper log shipping happens on port 64327 by default

Thanks for the response. I didn't think Exchange had a throttle but it is good to know you can go the port with a traffic shapper to throttle bandwidth. I notice when doing a large mailbox move the copy took all the bandwidth across the WAN.
