Sharepoint Services 3.0 authentication issue

Hi All,

I have just re-installed windows server 2003 on our terminal server.  For some reason I now cannot access our intranet. I get a "page cannot be displayed" error  It does not come up with an authentication prompt untill I attempt to refresh the page.  if i enter correct authentication details it lets me in. if i dont it denies me (obviousluy).

Viewing sharepoint on other computers works fine. we do not need to normally enter user credentials.

I have seen this issue before with user SID's i am wondering if it is a similar issue?

Thanks,

Josh

Has your IE security been configured correctly?  Are you using IE8 by any chance?

IE8 is being used on all the other unaffected computers as well.  have compared settings but all seem to be the same... unless I have missed something.....
