My dial up connection drops out after 5 minutes. Are there any setting I need to configure on my PC or should I call my ISP? It worked fine on my Windows 98 machine. Thanks for a reply. Chris

Update the drive.

If the card was used in a windows 98 computer is may just be too old. Get a new one

you can update the drive it might help, but honestly you shouldn't have to spend any money.  call your ISP they will guide you through some steps on updating windows some how and get it working.  i almost guarantee it.  my uncle had the same problem and after he called the ISP they fixed it for free.
