I'm looking to give the skype connect platform a try, however I can find very little documentation around how to set it up.  I'm looking to connect my Cisco 2811 with CME 7.1 to skype.  I'm looking for some configuration examples if possible.  I've been told by skype support it will work...but when I ask for sample config's, I get no information???  From what I'm told it is an enterprise SIP connection...they have certified Cisco and several other platforms, but little if any current information exists.  Let me know if anyone has had success with this one...
I've setup my skype manager account, purchased SIP trunks, setup online numbers, etc...I'm looking for the CME config...I'm ok with CLI or the CCP steps...I just want to see if it works at all

thx

You need to configure it as a SIP trunk as if it were to any SIP provider.

This is the Cisco sample config for configuring a SIP trunk http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps4625/products_configuration_example09186a00808f9666.shtml

Hope it helps!

mark_06....thanks for the info...I have looked at that sample config...my issue appears to be with sip-ua portion of my config and perhaps some of the translations.  I have been using my CME with simple signal and it's been great...I'm doing some testing with skype for another client and it has been less than fun....
I did get a sample config from a UC520 that I have been messing around with...Skype has many limitations and not sure how well this will work for my client...might be more trouble than it's worth....
thx

I have the same problem with skype. I have a 2821 router with CME7.1
