hi,

I have developed a program in visual studio.net 2008 and I paste the software in windows xp, but its not working, I notice that the ,net framework 3.5 is not installed, so I have installed the .net framework redistributable, but still not working,

I check with dependencies walker software, I got dll "mscoree.dll" is not working,

I want to solve that but not by pasting missing dll because I am sure this missing dll will depend on another dlls, I am looking for tool or something which can install all missing dlls

Are you sure that, you had installed 3.5  and not the 3.5 Service Pack-1 on your development machine?

Hi!
There is no way to make .NET Framework installers by self, MS has prohipted it.
Always use MS own downloadable patch to do this.
Reinstall Framework 3.5 on this macine, as it's XP you can do it. Later operating systems like 7 has preinstalled Framework so they need to reinstall to fix Framework problems.

Please check whether any useful hints from here
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/316091

Not sure - but check this comment in that link
Please set registry key HKLM\Software\Microsoft\.NETFramework\InstallRoot to point to the .NET Framework install location.

Check your .NET installation

See http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/archive/2008/10/13/8999004.aspx and http://www.raymond.cc/blog/archives/2008/11/06/how-to-check-what-version-of-microsoft-net-framework-is-installed-in-computer/ for various tools to do this.

There are a whole bunch of .NET installations starting with 1.1 up to 3.5

You might want to consider removing what you have there and reinstalling.

After uninstalling run the .NET cleanup tool http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/archive/2006/05/30/611355.aspx

Then work you way up to 3.5 See the link at the bottom of http://www.microsoft.com/net/download.aspx for them.

Are you sure you are using 3.5 framework? Show us a screenshot of References tab on Project Properties.
