Schedule the ntbakcup for TAPE

Hi We have installed LTO tape drive to take the backup of file server data daily. I want to schedule the backup daily if the tape is inserted otherwise local backup should be taken.

did i get your Q right ?
You want your script be able to detect if a tape is inserted and the decide:
1.) tape IS inserted -> backup to tape
2.) tape is NOT inserted -> backup to disk ?

I dont't think it's possible.
So you better should add two backup-jobs (if your timeframe is ok for this szenario)

1.) do backup to disk to disk
2.) do backup disk to tape
