Creating and Updating a Contact in exchange 2007 using EWS

I’ve an ASP.Net App using VB.  In the app are lots of contacts which I want to give the user the option to add to a shared mail box’s contacts.

This mail box is already used to send out e-mails from the app and this is done via EWS.

I’ve been searching around for an example of how to create a contact using the same method (EWS) but have got no where.

Is this possible?  Can any one give me an example of creating and then updating?

for update,  load the contact, edit a property and then call the Update method.

            myContact.AssistantName = "Joe Bloe";
            myContact.Update(ConflictResolutionMode.AlwaysOverwrite) ;

note that I find many more examples for C# rather than VB.Net , and haven't seen many VBS ones at all.  ( I am a beginner at Dot Net having stuck with VB6 for years)
