Dreamweaver stores the FTP info in the registry, so whatever user account is creating site definitions needs to be able to change the registry. &nbsp;If you have any security software blocking it or if the permissions are not sufficient, this crops up.<br />

Hmm - I'm a designer, not a developer, but that sounds a lot like a possible case of over-zealous IT guy (again) here in the office.<br />

I've systematically searched the Adobe Forums and done every one of the fixes for this, to no avail.<br />
<br />
I have to keep re-entering my FTP login info every time I restart DW CS5. To say it's irritating is like saying decapitation stings a little.<br />
<br />
Is there a definitive fix for this bug?
