Hi, I'm getting ready to deploy a SharePoint 2010 farm and am considering using solely SSX rather than solely SPF or a combination of SSX or SPF.  I'm just not sure I understand the pros and cons of each scenario.

After reading the following, I can't see any real benefit to using SPF at all?  Am I missing something?

If you want advanced search features, just install search server and not foundation.

Search server is foundation plus extra serach capabilites.
