I have a monitor with a displayport connector and need to extend it to a DVI connection. I can't find anything. In the picture the connection I have on the monitor side is the one on the left and I need a cable or adapter with the one on the right to a DVI connector. Displayport connectors

Nope, I am thinking about just getting a video card that supports the displayport connector and just order an extention cable.

Nope, that displayport connector is the same as the monitor cable. The monitor is a DELL E1909WDD and has the Displayport cable already built in and I can change it out. the end of the cable looks like the connector on the left and I need an adapter that has the one on the right so I can plug the two in to extend the cable or convert it to a DVI.
