Hey guys,

I have to deploy a config change to multiple machines that encorporates a change to the proxy settings in IE8 for a dial up service. It is easy enough to do manually, however, I want to encorporate it into a script that can be executed on the local machine.

Cheers

Thank you for the feedback... I was able to find the following registry path with housed the connection I was looking for:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Connections

By manually configuring the proxy and extracting the above string I was able to import it via script to another PC without a problem.

Thank you for the stepping stone.

The solution provided me enough information to find the solution for my scenario myself.
