Package application in Citrix XenApp 4.5 farm

Hello experts,


I would like to know the process to package the msi/exe applications in Citrix XenApp 4.5 farm, so that the application can be deployed using installation manager.

Application like Adobe Acrobat (with license key), MS Project (with license key), Win Zip 11.0 and other application with msi/exe setup files.

Please advise.

we do not use App streaming, we have XenApp 4.5 Ent version.
I need info on how to add packages in using Installation Manager ver 4.5.

1. Create a network account, provide credentials to it.
2. Using Packager (should under admin console in citrix start menu), create a new project for msi or exe file. (Here you will be virtually installing the package, using build option. You can also provide answer file for unattended installation)
3. Now go to Installation manager and choose properties. give proper network account.
4. Go to IM> Packages>Add package , select server and reboot option then you are done.
