I tried this in python
cmd = "echo export VVG=/Users >> ~/.bash_profile"
os.system(cmd)
cmd = "source ~/.bash_profile"
os.system(cmd)
cmd = """echo $VVG"""
print os.system(cmd)

I saved to bash

How can I make it take?
