Hi,

We are looking to implement the following:
PGP Universal Server + PGP Desktop Email + PGP BlackBerry Support

Our aim is to enable the 'Email Proxy' function that will encrypt emails at the client side (provided they have the intended public key) & send off the mail in its encrypted format.

My question is:
If someone (e.g. a third party) sends an email in the clea,r but with a PGP Zip file attached, to one of our guys: Can this PGP Zip file be opened by the recipient on their BlackBerry device?

Thanks in advance,

Did not test it before but thought that it should be seamless with the PGP package installed in Blackberry.

I will say that if the PGP ZIP file (i will assumed PGP ZIP archive instead of SDA which is an exe) is encrypted by the recipient pub keys, they should be able to open it as long as their Blackberry has the access to the corresponding private keys. Rightfully with PGP support package for Blackberry, the device should automatically searches for PGP Universal for the recipient encryption keys during message composition.

If it is offline, you may want to check out BlackBerry Key Conditioning Preparation Tool

The PGP commandline will not help since it does not support mobile OS as in their website

PS, understand it is supported for PGP Mobile (Windows Mobile) though
