if your active directory domain name is domain1.com it would be dc=domain1,dc=com

if the name is corp.domain2.local it would be dc=corp,dc=domain2,dc=local

etc...

I understand how to enter, just trying to confirm what the domain is by querying my server to make sure I have the right info, the domain I use is seautoman.com , i think remote.seautoman.com is what I need, and not the server name ...

your thoughts please...

no your domain is seautoman.com, remote.seautoman.com is what you would use for owa/rww etc... since you are on SBS

Open Active Directory Users and computers the domain name will show

in your case it will be dc=seautoman,dc=com
