According to Microsoft IIS 7.5 Exress has to be manually configured to work with Visual Studio 2008. After half an hour of looking, I can not find official Microsoft instructions on how to do so. I found this link  . However, I am looking for instructions specifically from Microsoft.

The relevant bit from my last post :

You can install IIS Express by using the Microsoft Web Platform Installer.

To use IIS Express with a Web project in Visual Studio, right-click the project in Solution Explorer, and then click Use IIS Express. Or, in the project properties windows, click the Web tab, and then click Use IIS Express.

For more information, see the IIS Express documentation on the IIS.NET website.

rawinnlnx9, I'm looking for instructions written by Microsoft. If no one can find it or it doesn't exist, I'll give the points to whoever finds the most complete set of instructions.
